Herbin condense l’instant nocturne en un théâtre de formes où l’obscurité n’éteint rien : elle révèle. Le noir, massif et silencieux, sert de matrice dans laquelle émergent des figures géométriques colorées, du rouge vibrant à l'orange incandescent, en passant par le bleu nuit, autant de signes qui semblent flotter comme des constellations mathématiques.

Herbin condenses the night into a theatre of forms where darkness reveals rather than extinguishes. Massive, silent black is the matrix from which coloured geometric figures emerge, from vibrant red to incandescent orange and midnight blue, floating like mathematical constellations.
