From the early and highly iconic series of soup cans by Andy Warhol, Black Bean Soup was created by the artist in 1968 as a screenprint in colors on wove paper. Hand-signed & dated, and numbered with a rubber stamp, verso, the artwork measures 35 x 23 in. (88.9 x 58.42 cm.), unframed, from the edition of 250 and is referenced as FS.II.44 in the artist’s catalogue raisonne.
