True to Lindström's celebrated CoBrA heritage and obsession with Nordic mythology, Cry is a masterpiece of primal emotion. The piece is dominated by a haunting, giant blue figure with an open, howling red mouth, dramatic tear marks, and splattered wash-textures that mimic heavy impasto paint.
The intense clash between electric cobalt blue, deep black, and fiery orange-red gives the work an unmistakable visceral energy and monumental presence.
The lower margin bears the hand-written edition number 4/100 in silver-gray pencil on the left (directly over the red printed field), and the artist's original pencil signature on the lower right, fully guaranteeing its authenticity.
