Offset lithograph on fine wove paper, signed Patrick Caulfield and numbered from the limited edition of 100. Printed in conjunction with the opening of Caulfield's first show in New York at Robert Elkon Gallery, with rubber stamp giving exhibition details to the reverse. The print is after the 1964 painting of the same name which hangs in the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. This is only the second print that Patrick Caulfield produced, after Ruins of 1964 had been published in the ICA portfolio. Only a few copies of Red and White Still Life remained after the New York exhibition, and some of those were damaged, making it an extremely rare and sought after print. Very good condition, there is unevenness in the ink done at the time of printing - see photos. A stunning, eye-catching and instantly recognisable image, and undoubtedly one of Caulfield's most collectable lithographs
