The Oval Office, 1992

Highly collectible set including :

1. One mixed media silkscreen, printed on a metallic campaign button.

Out of an edition of 5 000 & signed on the plate on the bottom right corner.

2. One original silkscreen, printed on glazed paper.

Final page proof by the printer, approved and signed by Roy Lichtenstein before the serial printing of the campaign buttons.

Hand-signed lower right margin, and signed on the plate on each image.

Dimensions:
+ Size of the sheet: 28 x 21,5 cm / 11 x 8,4 in.

Both artworks are designed after the original 1992 Roy Lichtenstein's large silkscreen. This particular screenprint was specially created to raise funds for the Bill Clinton & Al Gore's political campaign.

Roy Lichtenstein designed "The Oval Office" within the setting of the Artists for Freedom project, a gathering of 16 contemporary artists (with Joan Mitchell, Cindy Sherman, or else Jim Dine) creating political artworks for the Democratic National Committee.
