1945 - | Beginning of the collaboration between Fernand Mourlot and Picasso. More than 200 prints will be created by Picasso in the printing studio. |

1949 - | Picasso creates a lithography called "The Dove" which will become the symbol for the Peace Congress which is held in Paris. |
1953 - | Separation from Françoise Gillot. The following year, Picasso meets Jacqueline. |
1956 - | Along with other intellectuals, Picasso requests the convocation of a special meeting of the Communist Party after the invasion of Hungary by the Soviet Union. Picasso was a member of the Communist Party since 1944. |
