Amorosart is a portal which allows art professionals to present their galleries, to announce their future and/or past exhibitions, to publish their gallery news (fairs, shows, publications) but, above all, to place their work for sale and to establish contacts with potential clients and partners. Amorosart is a channel between gallery owners and collectors. This portal is entirely dedicated to modern and contemporary prints and to illustrated books by artists.

Collectors who are interested in one of your engravings will contact you via a simple, quick form which will include a photo of the work. You will be notified immediately of this contact and you can proceed with the sale directly with this new client. Amorosart does not charge any commission on transactions between gallery owners and collectors. Amorosart does not retain the information exchanged. Amorosart is registered with the NCITCL/CNIL (National Commission of Information Technology and Civil Liberties/ Commission Nationales de l’Informatique et des libertés) CNIL n° 1301442.

Every day, Amorosart presents new prints for sale. You can contact the gallery sales office by clicking on “Contact the Gallery”. In order to be the first to discover the new items, you can also subscribe to a gallery so you will be notified by email each time the gallery enters a new work or a new work from a selected artist is inserted. You can also subscribe to the Amorosart newsletter in order to receive a selection of new works on a weekly basis!

What are the costs for the galleries?
Subscription to Amorosart allows you to offer an unlimited number of works for sale. These works are instantaneously viewable by thousands of internet surfers. Amorosart is quickly becoming a powerful and limitless business tool. Once the work is sold, you can very easily remove it from the site and enter new works. The more works you have on the site, the more visible your gallery will become and the greater will be your chances for a large sales turnover.
You will also have the capability to post information about your gallery, your exhibitions, and your most current news. Subscription to Amorosart services costs 39 € per month excluding taxes (countries outside of the EU do no have to pay the VAT). There is no requirement for long-term commitment and viewing of the works on Amorosart is completely free for visitors.

What are the pre-requisites to subscribe to Amorosart?
Use of Amorosart is very simple! We have simplified the site and made it intuitive so that everyone can create their own virtual gallery with the greatest of ease. The only skills you need are the following:
- Internet Surfing.
- Viewing, reading and sending emails
- Taking digital photos or computer scanning. Do not forget that the quality of your photos is very important! A beautiful photo of an interesting work will most certainly induce a contact. As a member, you will have access to an ergonomic and intuitive client space.

What is the best way to take photos of a work on paper?
Here are some simple guidelines to create good photos of your works:
1) 1) Remove the engraving from its frame if it is framed. This will prevent bad reflections.
2) Choose, if possible, diffused light. You can use the sun, for example, or other indirect lighting. The goal is to have homogenous lighting which does not cast any shadows on the work.
3) Do not use flash. This can create a large, bright light in the middle of your work.
4) If your work is of exceptional quality, do not hesitate to use a professional photographer who is better equipped to create a perfect photo. Do not forget that works which are well photographed have much better chances of being sold.

What about new works on Amorosart?
When you input a work, it will automatically be included in the site’s “new items” category for 24 hours. This section is frequently viewed by buyers who are constantly looking for new works. Do not hesitate to regularly add works as you continue to make purchases in order to attract new clients.

Is Amorosart moderated?
In order to preserve the quality of our service, we perform “a posteriori” control of new works and information. Our moderators retain the right to suspend the display of works under the following conditions:
- The photo quality is insufficient.
- Information on the work is erroneous.
- The authenticity of the work is questionable.
- The work is not by the cited artist.
You will be notified of the suspension of the work and you will be invited to delete it or to correct its content.

What if you cannot find an artist in your member space?
We have created a complete list of artists who represent, in our view, the main players in modern and contemporary art. We hope this list is exhaustive but if an artist is not included in this list, you can make a suggestion writting us at artiste@amorosart.com. We reserve the right to accept or to refuse a suggestion for a new artist.

How can I cancel my subscription to Amorosart?
If you decide to cancel your subscription, you do not need to give advance notice. It is sufficient to send us an email (contact@amorosart.com) and account withdrawals will be automatically suspended. Your gallery will remain online until the end of the month of cancellation then it will be removed. On request, you can ask us to save your data so that, in the future, you can restart your account and have all your information restored to the site with ease.
